The Manaslu Circuit is getting increasingly more popular as a brand new hiking destination but it nonetheless sees fewer trekkers in comparison to the installed trekking routes in the Annapurna region. The circuit is a beautiful trek with incredible views of Mount Manaslu (8163 m) and the Ganesh Himal range, among others. along the path, you stumble upon a thrilling blend of genuine Hindu and Tibetan-fashion Buddhist villages.

The path follows the wonderful Budhi Gandaki River all the way from Arugath to its source just under the Larkya pass (5125 m The crossing of the Larkya pass (5125 m) can be tough whilst there may be snow. however, the beautiful landscape with the potent Himalayas towering instantly above you and the superb glaciers make it greater than worth the effort. The Larkey pass links the Budhi Gandaki with the Marsyangdi valley. The descent passes thru stunning alpine meadows at Bhimtang before joining the primary Annapurna Circuit direction heading to the trailhead at Besisahar. The Manaslu trek is without difficulty accessible from Kathmandu.

 It first started out inside the town of Arughat or Gorkha; but, with roads being built many trekkers begin at both Barpak and Soti Khola a bit further up the path. The trek defined here starts from Barpak , laprak and ends in Dharapani. It’s also feasible to complete the walk in Besisahar which is likewise the place to begin for the Annapurna circuit. Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives will greet you and will transfer you to the hotel. Welcome Evening dinner at authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural performance. Airport pickup by private Car, Van or Bus (According to group size) Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal.

Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

Today we are going to visit four of the UNESCO world heritage listed sites in Kathmandu Valley. After breakfast, we start for Kathmandu valley city tour which includes the UNESCO heritage site in the City valley. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred pilgrims’ sites for Hindus all over the world and It is the temple of Lord Shiva, the temple where the dead bodies are criminated on the Bagmati River. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the biggest stupas in Asia and holiest Buddhist Pilgrims and famous tourist destination in City Valley and It is also famous for over 50 Tibetan gompas or monasteries. Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the places of the ancient king palace who ruled over the Kathmandu Kingdom. Swayambhunath(Monkey Temple) is located in the heart of the City valley and It is another famous tourist destination and holiest Buddhist pilgrims in Kathmandu Valley.

Drive to Machha Khola (869m/8-9 hours.)

Today morning we will take a bus from the new bus Park to Machhakhola. It will take 8-9 hours to reach Machhakhola. Machhakhola is the starting point of your trekking.From Machha Khola you can collect the North East view of Ganesh Himal.

Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m/7-8 hours.)

Machha Khola is the second day of your trekking. From Machha Khola the trails slowly ascend to Khorlabesi which offers you the wonderful view of Ganesh Himal. Along the way, at Yaru Phat you can see an amazing waterfall and then trek through the rock and stone-paved trail. Just before Jagat, you will pass a bridge that is made of the rock. From Jagat, you can enjoy the superb views of Sringi Himal.

Jagat-Deng (2100m), 5/6h ( +800m – 100m)

The trail to Deng is mostly rough at uphill. Deng is another small Gurung village settlement which offers the superb views of Siringi Himal. Buddhist Mani wall is another attraction of Deng.

Deng – Numrung (2630m), 6/7h ( +780m –50m)

The trail from Deng to Ghap combines uphill, downhill and the easy trekking path. From Deng you will first get to Ghap, then you will trek through the dense pine and rhododendron forest to get Namrung for the overnight. The mesmerizing view of snowcapped mountains Siringi Himal and Ganesh Himal makes your today`s trip awesome.

Numrung -Lho Gaon (3180m), 4h( +500m – 00m)

Today, we start our journey to reach Lho. It will take 4-5 hours to reach Lho. The wonderful views of mountain greet us all the way. Little ahead, Lho welcomes with wonderful views of the Manaslu North face and Naike Peak. From Lho you can catch the panoramic view of Manaslu Massif. Rimung Monastery and the Buddhist Mani walls are other attractions of Lho.

Lho Gaon - Samagaon (3400m), 4h ( +600m)

Today, we walk through the Buddhist Mani walls then pass a big Chortens before Shyala then you will continue the trekking to Samagaon. Manaslu will accompany you all the way to Samagaon. Samagaon is a wonderful Gurung village with Tibetan like traditions and culture plus the views of Manaslu, Larke peak and Naike Peak is absolutely fantastic.

Acclimatization day

An extra day in Samagoan is always worthwhile. Today you can either hike up to Manaslu Base Camp(4400m.) or visit the wonderful Birendra Tal. On your free time, you can just relax.

Sama Gaon - Samdo (3700m), 3h ( +400m – 00m)

Today, you will take steep uphill trail first to Kyonggma Kharka where you can see the stone huts plus long Mani walls. Samdo will welcome you with stunning views of Naike and Pangboche peak. You can also explore the Taka Chouling Gompa in Samdo.

Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi) (4460m./4-5 hours trek.)

The trail from Samdo first ascends to Larkya Bazar which is a fair seasonal Tibetan market. Further, you will trek to Larkya Phedi. You can enjoy the superb views of Larkya Peak and Naike Peak from Dharamsala.

Dharamshala – Larkya la pass (5170m). Trek to Bhimthang (3660m, 9hrs)

Today, we will be going to pass the tough trekking route where you will walk through the moraine route. You can able to see larky Glacier along the way. The magnificent views of Kanguru, Annapurna II, Himlung Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkya Peak, Namjung Himal plus Ranta Chuli make your today,s trip fabulous. After Larya La pass the trail is steep descent plus grassy moraine. As it is rockfall area walk carefully.

Bimtang - Dharapani (1963m/7-8 h)

Today, we start descending down to Hampuk, a rock shelter cave than to Yak Kharka. Further, you will be trekking through Gho-a Gurung village. Furthermore, you will trek to Tilije for the overnight.

En Jeep: Dharapani - Besisahar (760m/5-6 h)

Today, we will take bus/jeep back to Besi Sahar from Dharapani.

Drive back to Kathmandu (1334m./6-7 hours trek.)

Today is our final day of the trek. so, we take the bus back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will have time for last-minute shopping.

You have a free day to explore Kathmandu further, do some last-minute shopping, or simply relax. You could also opt for additional sightseeing or activities.

Final Departure

Our representative transfers you to the Kathmandu airport to catch your returning flight back home. Thank you for Travelling with Churen Himal Treks and Tours. Airport drop by private Car, Van or Bus (According to group size) Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal.

  • Nepal entry visa fees $50 USD for 30 days visa on arrival.
  • International airfare, Nepal visa fees (two passport photographs required) and travel and medical insurance for emergency evacuation
  • Entrance fees for sightseeing/monument visit as per the itinerary
  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara (except Welcome dinner)
  • Expenses of a personal nature (bars and beverage bills, dessert and snacks, hot shower, drinking water, telephone, internet, laundry, titbits, etc)
