Garbage Deposit Fees for Climbing and Expedition in Nepal
Churen Himal Treks is fully committed to responsible and eco-friendly expedition practices. All waste generated during expeditions organized by the company is carefully managed, with every effort made to minimize environmental impact. The team ensures that recyclable and biodegradable materials are properly handled and disposed of in accordance with Nepal Government regulations, under the supervision of the concerned authorities. Any waste that cannot be safely destroyed or recycled in the mountain environment is collected and transported back to Kathmandu, where it is handed over to the appropriate government departments as required.
The Mountaineering expedition team shall deposit the following amount for the garbage management :
(a) For the following mountains of the Khumbu and Annapurna Himalayan range:

| 5. |
For the mountain having a height of less than 6,500 meters
|
USD 500 or equivalent in Nepalese Rupees
|
(b) For the following mountains of the other Himalayan range other than those expressed in clause (a):
