Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives will greet you and will transfer you to the hotel. Welcome Evening dinner at authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural performance. Airport pickup by private Car, Van or Bus (According to group size) Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal.

Drive from Kathmandu (1400m) to Syabrubesi (1503m)

Scenic 6-7 hour drive passing through Shivapuri National Park and traditional villages. Lunch stop at Trishuli Bazaar. Overnight in Syabrubesi. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Guesthouse Distance: 122 km

Trek from Syabrubesi (1503m) to Sherpagaon (2563m)

7-8 hour trek with a lunch stop at Khanjim. Stunning views of Langtang Valley. Experience local Sherpa culture in Sherpagaon. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 10-12 km

Trek from Sherpagaon (2563m) to Langtang Village (3430m)

Trek through pine and rhododendron forests. Lunch stop at Riverside Lodge. Visit Langtang Village and explore Mani stone walls and Buddhist culture. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 12-15 km

Trek from Langtang Village (3430m) to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)

Short but steep trek through shepherd-run communities. Explore the historic Kyanjin Gompa monastery and local cheese factory. Optional hike to Kyanjin Ri for panoramic views. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 5 km

Acclimatization Day | Hike to Tserko Ri (4983m)

7-8 hour hike to the highest point of the trek, Tserko Ri. Breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung and Tibet Himalayas. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 7-10 km

Trek from Kyanjin Gompa (3870m) to Lama Hotel (2470m)

Descend through bamboo forests and riverside trails. Lunch stop at Bamboo Lodge or Pahare Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 10 km

Trek from Lama Hotel (2470m) to Syabrubesi (1460m)

Final trekking day with 5-6 hours of walking. Opportunity for more side excursions. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Accommodation: Tea House Distance: 10 km

Drive from Syabrubesi (1460m) to Kathmandu (1400m)

Scenic 6-7 hour drive back to Kathmandu. Relax at a comfortable 3-star hotel. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel

Final Departure

Bid farewell to Nepal, enriched by the incredible memories of your Saribung peak climbing. Ensure you leave with ample time for goodbyes and future plans to return for more adventures!   • We strongly suggest bringing Western meds with you as there are a lot of Indian fakes on the market!
  • Suggested: Diamox, Azithromycin, Ciprofloxacin, Tinidazole, or Flagyl & Augmentin. Bring COMPEED for covering blisters & good tasting electrolytes &/or rehydration salts (Emergen-C is a good American brand). The local versions aren’t very appealing.
  • We also recommend bringing strong knee & ankle supports & braces, ACE bandages for sprains & strains, Tegaderm &/or other would coverings. Duct tape is always useful. We’re happy to take excess medical supplies off your hands when you leave if you won’t need them and pass them on to others. We use lots of the large amount we have with us to treat locals we meet when trekking.
