Saribung Peak (6,328m) was opened in 2006. It is located in west-central Nepal and the Tibet border. This route takes us to the ancient kingdom of Mustang, Lo Manthang, capital of Mustang, climb Saribung Peak (6,328m) then cross the saribung pass and reach the hidden valley of Naar phu.
The trek starts from Chhusang. we cross splendid villages, colorful cliffs, troglodyti, monasteries, and canyons. From Yara we go up to the sacred lakes of Damodar Kund, it is a place of Hindu pilgrimage. We climb Saribung Peak (6,328m) from where we offer exceptional 360° views of the Tibetan plateaus and the giant Nepalese peaks, then switch to the Naar Phu valley. You walk from Yara to Phu Gaon in an environment of extreme wild beauty.
This route involves walking through semi-desert landscapes and off the beaten track. In this region we discover Tibetan culture, people practice the Buddhist religion, we pass monasteries.
