Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is an easy and best trek which is traveling with Families, children and elderly people. The Poon Hill is a most popular hill in the Annapurna region from where you offer the incredible sunrise panorama of the Himalayan range, Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South(7219m) and d other Himalayas so this trek is also known as the Annapurna Sunrise Trek. There is no risk of altitude sickness. The highest point of Poon Hill (3210m) where we will only spend an hour. This adventure you will discover villages of Gurung, Magar and their culture, tradition, hospitality of terraced fields and spectacular mountain landscapes. Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (1,350m) and transfer to hotel.

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives will greet you and will transfer you to the hotel. Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley .

A full-day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu is an unforgettable experience that immerses visitors in the rich history, culture, and spirituality of Nepal. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m) in a Tourist Bus, Duration: 6 to 8 hrs

After having your breakfast, we will move to Pokhara (about 6-7 hours’ drive) via scenic Prithvi Highway, enjoying shortstops for lunch and breakfast and scenic beauty all the way around. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can enjoy your spare time at the lakeside. You can relax at the Phewa Lake, surrounded by the Annapurna Himalaya Range and visit Bindavasini Temple which is only accessible by boat.

Drive from Pokhara to Birethanti (1,039m-1hrs) and Trek to Ulleri (2,070m), Duration: 4 to 5 hrs

The journey begins with a scenic one-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, passing through lush valleys and charming villages. Upon reaching Nayapul, the trek to Ulleri begins—a six-hour adventure through terraced farmlands, rivers, and forests. The trail ascends steeply, especially after crossing the Tikhedhunga suspension bridge, leading to the picturesque village of Ulleri, perched at 2,070 meters. This trek is the first step toward the famous Annapurna Base Camp trek, offering breathtaking mountain views and a rewarding challenge for hikers.

Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,874m ), Duration: 4 to 5 hrs

After Breakfast, we hike to Ghorepani and walk in the jungle most of the day. If you come in the spring, you will see a lot of Rhododendron flowers. You have the chance to see many wild birds and animals during the trek. You can see a great view of many snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna range. Ulleri to Ghorepani 5hour walk, and then overnight at the lodge.

Hike early morning Poon Hill (3,210m) and trek to Ghandruk (1939m), Duration: 6-7 hours

We get up early in the morning with warm clothes and climb up Poonhill (3210m.). it is not necessary to take much with us as we return later to collect our main rucksacks. It is about an hour's walk to get to Poonhill (3210m). You will see the best sunrise and magnificent view of the Himalayas like Annapurna South, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri ranges, Tukuche peak, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, Mt.Manaslu ranges, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and other mountains. After this unforgettable view, we came back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Trek to Ghandruk. The hike starts with quite a steep uphill section to Deurali pass. It is a similar elevation to Poonhill. We will see all the mountains from here as well. After that, we hike down to Tadapani. We continue to hike to Ghandruk through the Baisi Kharka (Buffalo pasture). Ghandruk is one of the biggest villages of the Gurung people. There is the Gurung Culture Museum. We can go and see the way of life of the Gurung people. From this village, we can still see views of snow peaks.

Drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara (9,00m), Duration: 3-4 hrs

This morning the trek starts after having breakfast in Ghandrung to ward Nayapul about 4 hours with lunch on the way from where you are taken to Pokhara by private vehicle driving and keep you in Hotel as per agreed category with BB Plan.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,350m), Duration: 7-8 hrs

Embark on a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, covering approximately 200 kilometers through picturesque landscapes. The journey takes around 7 to 8 hours, offering stunning views of the Himalayas, lush hills, and charming villages along the way. As you traverse winding roads and cross rivers, experience the vibrant culture of Nepal. This drive is not just a mode of transport; it’s an adventure that immerses you in the natural beauty and rich heritage of the region. Be prepared for occasional stops to capture the breathtaking scenery and enjoy local snacks.

Final Departure

  • Nepal entry visa fees $50 USD for 30 days visa on arrival.
  • International airfare, Nepal visa fees (two passport photographs required) and travel and medical insurance for emergency evacuation
  • Entrance fees for sightseeing/monument visit as per the itinerary
  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara (except Welcome dinner)
  • Expenses of a personal nature (bars and beverage bills, dessert and snacks, hot shower, drinking water, telephone, internet, laundry, titbits, etc)
  • Costs arising from natural calamities, mishaps or anything beyond our control. Costs are non-refundable and non-transferable if you leave the trek voluntarily
  • Meals and accommodation in Kathmandu in cases of early returns and late departures

  • Tipping is a culture in Nepal and is expected by your staff (guides, porters, drivers)
